Our beloved Belgian electronic dj duo played this track by another Belgian electronic duo a lot since its release in 2011.
Mumbai Science was a Belgian DJ/Producer duo, consisting of Jonas Kiesekoms and Maarten Elen. They signed with Lektroluv Records, owned by Belgian electro phenomenom Dr. Lektroluv, in 2010 and released a couple of EP’s in the same year.
Dave and Steph played it around 2011-2012 in their 2manydjs dj sets and in their live ‘Under The Covers‘ sets. The UTC sets typically started with the Soulwax remix of ‘Hey Boy, Hey Girl’ followed by ‘Lotus’ to really kickstart the show.
It was also the first track in the ‘Radio Soulwax presents Under The Covers Vol 3‘ video, after the ‘Machine‘ intro:
