These are the most rare / expensive Soulwax related releases
As a collector (or, in my case, a ‘completist’), the goal is to find and collect as much material related to the subject as possible. Not with the intention to sell (or ‘flip’) certain items in the future. Although it can be interesting and exciting to see an item from a personal collection increase in value, it is ultimately irrelevant if one does not intend to sell.
But just for the sake of it, I have made a list of the most expensive or most exclusive Soulwax / DEEWEE related items – in no particular order.
DEEWEE 058: Soulwax x D’Heygere – Oh Stéphanie Ring + USB
Without a doubt the most exclusive release on DEEWEE, this signet ring made of 925 sterling silver was designed & produced by D’heygere in Italy. The DEEWEE logo has been engraved and it contains a built-in USB drive that includes an exclusive 9-minute-and-39 second-music piece and digital artwork.
The track ‘Oh Stéphanie’ hasn’t been released, so you need to be in possession of the ring if you want to listen to the song. The ring went up for sale at a special event in Antwerp on November 4, 2021 at Ganterie Boon.
Limited edition of 40 pieces, available in 2 sizes.
Original retail price was GBP 250, it’s listed on Discogs but has never been sold.
Die Verboten : Live In Eivissa 12″
‘Live In Eivissa’ was the debut EP by Die Verboten, an audio-visual side-project that can best be described as ‘space music’, bringing together the musical and visual talents of Soulwax, Riton and Fergadelic.
Released by The Vinyl Factory in 2009 and created by Fergadelic, the folding pyramid features tapestry artwork and treated photographs taken at the Die Verboten recording sessions in Ibiza.
Limited to 300 copies, with hand-numbered and stamped center labels. Currently none are for sale on discogs, median price is around 100 Euros.
DEEWEE 015 : Emmanuelle – L’uomo D’affari 12″
Emmanuelle has released two 12″ on DEEWEE, and it’s her second release that has become one of the most sought after releases on the label. It all has to do with the B-side ‘Italove’. The track got a lot of attention when it was used in the 2018 award winning movie ‘Dogman’, which made this release one of the most expensive DEEWEE releases on Discogs.
It was sold only twice in 2025, for 249 Euros and for 271 Euros. If you want to enjoy the track on vinyl but don’t want to splash that amount of money, then you can also buy the Foundations compilation (DEEWEE 050)
2MANYDJS: As Heard On Radio Soulwax Pt II. digipack / orginal 2xLP (2012)
There are not a lot of variations of the iconic remix album from 2002. The original 2xLP version that came out in 2012 has the tipp-ex cover and is becoming more and more valuable.
Only 2000 were pressed and you’ll pay around 100 Euros for it nowadays.
Two years later, a promotional videopack version came out in very limited numbers. When you open the sleeve, a small screen plays the animated AHORS PT 2 hour.
Only four copies have ever been sold on discogs, the last one was sold in 2020 for 125 Euros.
Sebastien Tellier – Odyssee (Soulwax Remix) 12″
This white vinyl 12” was an exclusive gift for the visitors of the Chanel Fall – Winter 2022/2023 Haute Couture shows, where the Soulwax remix was being played.
It took me several years before I got to buy one for a decent price. Although this release seems to get a bit less expensive these days: currently there are five for sale on Discogs, the cheapest one for 100 USD.
DEEWEE 034: EMS Synthi 100 – DEEWEE Sessions Vol 01 LP + book
DEEWEE Sessions Vol. 01 is a highly collectible package which features the album on heavyweight 180g vinyl along with a fully-illustrated 48-page book which explores the background behind the album and the history of the Synthi 100.
The book compiles a foreword from David and Stephen Dewaele, an introduction from 3030, the specific Synthi 100 unit that was used for the album; a history of its creation and an exploration of its sounds; and finally an interview with Ivan Schepers, the IPEM technician who has been 3030’s long-term custodian.
It was released in 2020 and only 1000 copies were pressed. It sold out in no time and if you want one you’ll spend at least 150 Euros.
Charlotte Gainsbourg – Deadly Valentine (Soulwax Remix) 12″
Only released in France and the UK on Recordstore Day 2018, you really had to be quick to get your hands on it. I tracked one down in a small Belgian record shop near the French border on RSD, and Soulwax fan Kristof was so nice to pick it up for me.
Cheapest one on discogs at the moment is GBP 100, without shipping.
DEEWEE 025: Soulwax – Close To Paradise 12″ (Loewe Edition)
This promotional ‘Loewe edition’ of DEEWEE 025 comes in a custom double sleeve with different artwork and a book. Soulwax created the track for the fashion brand in 2015, it was pressed by The Vinyl Factory but it’s unknown how many of this edition were made.
Prices on discogs are on average 200 Euros.
DEEWEE 026: Soulwax – From DEEWEE 2xLP (The Vinyl Factory edition)
This limited edition, made by The Vinyl Factory, was released on the same day as the album in 2016. It took a couple of months before ‘From DEEWEE‘ would get a regular release on vinyl.
It was limited to 500 copies, had a custom artwork, 2xLP clear heavyweight vinyl. Sides A, B & C play at 33 1/3rpm, Side D plays at 45rpm.
Most copies for sale right now on Discogs go around 80 Euros, without shipping.
DEEWEE 055: Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul – Topical Dancer Ltd LP + 7″ singles
The debut album from Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul was released on four different vinyl variations. The 2xLP black and white limited edition is the most valuable.
This includes a 2LxP in a UV gloss gatefold sleeve with printed inners and a download card, 32-page photo zine collecting images from the Charlotte & Boris album collaboration with Camille Vivier, plus outtakes and behind-the-scenes images. Two 31×31 art prints and a numbered book plate signed by Charlotte & Bolis, all housed in a clear PVC bag.
The photo zine, art prints and bookplates are a limited edition of 500 copies, never to be reissued or released separately.
Cheapest copy for sale on Discogs is 80 Euros, without shipping.
Four tracks from the album were released on 7″ in 2021, and they are also getting quite expensive. Though some are still available on the DEEWEE store!
Daft Punk – Human After All Remixes CD + 2 figurines
I already wrote a blog post about this release. What made it so exclusive is the fact that it was only released in Japan at the time and it included two lovely Daft Punk figurines.
The remix album will get released on vinyl for the first time in November 2025.
Souljacks – Billie Jean Meets Saturday 12″
For many, many years this 12″ white label was the ultimate ‘white whale’ for me. Probably the first mashup I ever heard from Soulwax, mixing MJ’s classic with the vocals of Soulwax’ own ‘Saturday’, it was released in 1999 as a promotional gift for people in the Belgian and Dutch music industry.
It took me several years to get a hold of one, and it has never been cheap on Discogs.
But two years ago, a box of these white label 12″ was found and that’s why you can get one for about 70 Euros on discogs right now. Ghent based record shop Music Mania have been selling them for 50 Euros in their shop and on Belgian festival grounds in the summer of 2025.
